Benjamin Preston Clark

Benjamin Preston Clark (8 October 1860, in West Roxbury 11 January 1939, in Philadelphia) was an American entomologist who specialised in Lepidoptera, especially Sphingidae. His worldwide collection is in the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh. Clark wrote New American Sphingidae (1916) and very many scientific papers describing new species of Sphingidae.
