Muzon is one of the five barangays in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. It was founded in 1901. Its barangay hall was situated at National Road, Barangay Muzon, Taytay, Rizal. It is the smallest barangay of the town of Taytay with the total land area of 341 ha (840 acres) and total population of 26,523 in 2015[2].
From 2018 up to present, the acting barangay chairman voted by the people of Muzon is Capt. Frank Luster "Buboy" Santos.
Education
Muzon Elementary School and San Francisco Elementary School are the primary education schools within Barangay Muzon. Public secondary education is provided at Muzon National High School.
