Baobab College

Baobab College(formerly Baobab Trust School) is an independent day and boarding school, situated outside Lusaka, Zambia.

650 students are enrolled from ages 2-18 to follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales. At the end of Year 11 students sit IGCSE exams through CIE.

Senior College students follow AS/A level programmes.

In 2005, Baobab College was awarded Fellowship Centre Status by CIE - the only school in Zambia to achieve this award. In 2015 Baobab College became a member of Council of British International Schools COBIS.

The school was founded with 15 pupils and 4 members of staff in January 1994. It outgrew its original location and in September 1999 moved to its current site, a large and picturesque woodland campus on the outskirts of Lusaka, situated on the Kafue Road.

The school is a diverse international community with students from 40 countries and staff from 14 nationalities.
