Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Co

Bahamian Brewery and Beverage Co Ltd. (BBBC) is a beer and non-alcoholic malt beverage brewery in the Bahamas.[1] Its beer lines include Strong Back, Sands, Sands Light, High Rock, Bush Crack and Pink Sands.[2] The brewery is owned by James "Jimmy" Sands. The brewing company signed a deal to supply Virgils restaurant in Nassau, Bahamas.[3] Triple B is a non-alcoholic malt drink.

Bush Crack is the first local beer to be produced in cans.[1] It is a light beer, although the 5.9% alcohol content is elevated compared to competitors. Strong Back Stout has a 7.7% alcohol content.[2] High Rock is a geographical feature in the Bahamas. Sands is sold in bottles and has been promoted with stop-motion animation advertisements.

Grand Bahama's newest brewery opened in 2007 with the launch of its first beer SANDS. The 20-acre Brewery is located on the intersection on Queen's Highway and Grand Bahama Way and is a 100% Bahamian Owned business. The brewery currently employs over 50 Bahamians. BBB bottles their products in a high grade glass which helps keeps the taste better and the bottles are recyclable which means we are helping the environment too by producing less waste.[4]
