Arno Camenisch (born 1 February 1978 in Tavanasa) is a Swiss writer who writes in German and Romansh.
Life and works
Camenisch grew up in Tavanasa and studied at a teacher training college in Chur. From 2004 to 2007 he lived in Madrid. Since 2007, he has lived in Biel/Bienne. He is a member of the Spoken Word Ensemble Bern ist überall.
Camenisch writes prose, poetry and plays. He is best known for his novel Sez Ner (translated as The Alp), about life in a modern Alpine village, which was written jointly in German and Romansh.
