Apple & Grape Harvest Festival

The Apple & Grape Harvest Festival is a biennial festival held in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia, on the first weekend of March. It is one of Queensland's longest-running festivals.[1]

History

The Apple & Grape Harvest Festival was born out of the Apple Blossom Festival in 1966, itself born of the "Back to Stanthorpe Week" celebrations in 1954.[2][3]

In 2009 as part of the Q150 celebrations, the Apple & Grape Harvest Festival was announced as one of the Q150 Icons of Queensland for its role as an "event and festival".[4]
