Apostolic Nunciature in Australia

The Nunciature to Australia is an ecclesiastical office of the Roman Catholic Church in Australia. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio to Australia with the rank of an ambassador. The office of the nunciature is located in Manuka, Canberra.

The mission was established as an Apostolic Delegation by Pope Pius X on 15 April 1914, with Archbishop Bonaventura Cerretti as its first head. It was raised to an Apostolic Nunciature by Pope Paul VI by a Decree dated March 5, 1973. Current nuncio has been Adolfo Tito Yllana since 2015.
