Anton Igorevich Volkov (Russian: Антон Игоревич Волков; born August 20, 1990) is a Russian professional football player, who last played for the Latvian Higher League for Skonto Riga.

Club career

As a youth player Volkov played for FK Khimki, and in 2008 he was taken to its reserve team. Playing there for a year, in 2009 he moved to the FC Saturn Moscow Oblast reserves, scoring his first goal and playing 26 matches. He spent the 2010-2011 season with FC Volga Tver, before moving to Latvia in 2011. In early April he was signed by JFK Olimps/RFS. Proving his abilities there and scoring 3 goals in 15 matches, he soon left the team and signed a contract with another Latvian club - Skonto Riga in July 2011 before the start of the 2011-12 UEFA Champions League qualification. He was given the no. 24 shirt then. He played 6 league matches later that season and also scored once.
