Career
Limbach was born in a fencing family: her father Alfred is a sports administrator and her elder brother Nicolas is twice sabre World champion. She joined in 2006 the German national team. She won with them a team bronze medal at the 2007 Junior European Championships in Prague. In the senior category, her best result is a quarter-final at the 2014 European Championships in Strasburg, where she was defeated by Italy's Rossella Gregorio. With the team, she reached a quarter-final at the 2009 World Championships in Antalya, where they lost to Russia. Limbach was four-time (2006, 2008, 2009, 2011) German team champion with TSV Bayer Dormagen.
Limbach graduated in marketing from St. John's University.
