Anjanaparvan

Anjanaparvan was the son of Ghatotkacha and the grandson of Bhima and Hidimbi. It is said that he never wore an armour in warfare as his chest was so hard that no weapon could pierce it.

Mahabharata

In the Mahabharata war, on the 14th day of the war when the battle continued after sunset; Anjanaparvan with his father and Rakshasa Akshuhanis attacked the Kaurava army. He and small part of his army faced Ashwathama. He created illusions and took his mace and threw it towards Ashwathama which transformed to thousand mace which was struck by Ashwathama's Vajra and destroyed the illusion then Anjanaparvan threw his sword towards him which also nutralised to thousands. Ashwatthama penetrated this illusion by his Vayavyaastra. He then with his arrows struck Anjanaparvan's chest but it didn't hurt him but atlast Ashwathama's arrows beheaded him.
