America 3000 is a 1986 post-apocalyptic science-fiction cult film which takes place 900 years in the future in Colorado. After a nuclear war in the year 1992, mankind has been reduced to Stone Age conditions and is under the rule of Amazon-like women warriors. 2 youth, Korvis and Gruss, managed to escaped and explore the region. They find a bunker belonging to the President of the United States of America, where they grab ammunition and guns, and rise up in revolt against the amazon warriors. The film was directed by David Engelbach, and stars Chuck Wagner, Laurene Landon, William Wallace, and Karen Sheperd.
