The jynx midwife frog (Alexteroon jynx) is a species of frogs in the family Hyperoliidae endemic to Cameroon. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.

A. jynx is part of the brightly colored frog family Hyperoliidae, which can range from small to medium in size. It lays eggs in a group on a leaf, which hatch into tadpoles and fall off into the water. The exact population is unknown due to the rarity of this animal, but it was known to be decreasing in the last assessment the IUCN took in 2004.
