Alen Horvat (born 13 September 1973) is a retired Croatian football defender. As a player, he spent the first five years of his career with HNK Rijeka in Croatia’s Prva HNL. He retired from football in 2005 after spending several seasons playing for clubs in Croatia’s lower divisions.

After retiring from professional football, Horvat became a manager. During 2011, he had a stint as a manager with Rijeka before moving to Krk. In July 2013, he was appointed manager of Pomorac in Croatia’s Druga HNL. At the end of the season, Pomorac went through some financial difficulties which eventually resulted the club´s bankruptcy, and Horvat moved to Bistra. In September 2015, Horvat was appointed as a manager of Hrvatski Dragovoljac in Croatia’s Druga HNL.
