Albert W. Ackroyd[lower-alpha 1] was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for Halifax (Heritage № 192), as a centre, i.e. number 3 or 4.[1]
International honours
Ackroyd won a cap for England while at Halifax in 1921 against Wales.[2]
Post-retirement
Ackroyd retired in 1922.[3] He served as assistant trainer for Halifax from 1931–33.[4][5]
