The Albany Great Danes women's basketball team is the basketball team that represent the University at Albany, State University of New York in Albany, New York. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at SEFCU Arena.[2]
History
As of the end of the 2016-17 season, the Great Danes have an all-time record of 624-578, with a record of 270-272 in Division I play. Albany played in Division III from 1972-1995 and Division II from 1995-1999 before joining Division I in 1999.[3][4]
