Allen Holubar (August 3, 1888 – November 20, 1923) was an American actor, film director, and screenwriter of the silent film era.[1] He appeared in 38 films between 1913 and 1917. He also directed 33 films between 1916 and 1923.

Marriage and death

Holubar was married to actress Dorothy Phillips for eleven years from 1912 until his death in 1923 from pneumonia at the age of 35. Dorothy, herself, would also die of pneumonia in the year 1980 at the age of 90.
