Aitor González Jiménez (born 27 February 1975 in Zumárraga, Gipuzkoa) is a former Spanish professional road bicycle racer. He turned professional in 1998 with Avianca-Telecom; his last team was Euskaltel-Euskadi. He won the 2002 Vuelta a España with Kelme after attacking his teammate leading the race. He won the 2005 Tour de Suisse. He also won three stages of the 2002 Vuelta a España, two of the 2002 Giro d'Italia, one of the 2003 Giro d'Italia and one of the 2004 Tour de France. He retired in 2006 after being implicated in the Operacion Puerto doping affair.[1]
