Adamzai

Adamzai is a village in Nowshera District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, located between Akora Khattak and Shaidu. Khan's living here belong to the khushal khan khattak lineage of the khattak tribe.The tomb of Great Afghan Warrior and pashto poet Khushal Khan Khattak is situated in the skirts of adamzai.

The British Company Pakistan Tobacco Company is situated in Adamzai along sheet glass factory (not running). UNISA Pharmaceutical industry & Marble Factory are still operational industries of Adamzai.

Adamzai is the home town of Senator Nauman Wazir Khattak , chairman area board WAPDA Nawab khan khattak and EX Pak railway GM Ishfaq Khattak, Shahab khattak secretary C&W KPK, Fayyaz khattak GM WAPDA, along with many other senior bureaucrats. Jaffar khattak candidate from Pakistan people's party NA-6 nowshera also lives in adamzai. Prof. syed Kifayat Ullah, Prof Amjad Ali & Prof Raees Khan are the senior educationist of Adam Zai. Mufti Ghulam Ur Rahman has established a well known Madrassa Jamia Usmania started from Adam zai in 1992. The Jamia Usmania is further spread its branches in Peshawar and Pabbi. Qari Mir Haidar headed Jamia Usmania adamzai branch for 25 years.

There is only one govt High school for Boys and just a middle school for girls. These both schools are operational from the last five decades. Now there is need of more govt schools for boys and girls.

There is a govt hospital operating from 1995.
