Aashish Rakesh Kapoor pronunciation (born 25 March 1971, Chennai, Tamil Nadu) is a former Indian cricketer who played in 4 Tests and 17 ODIs from 1994 to 2000. He was member of the 1996 Cricket World Cup Squad but was dropped and was never able to make it back to the national ODI team after 2000. He was 200th Test Cricketer to represent India.
Unable to get in Tamil Nadu Ranji team he moved to Punjab then to Rajasthan. He finally returned to Tamil Nadu in 1999–2000 to become the highest wicket taker in that season.
