Dickson went to the 'Brushers from the University of Pennsylvania, and brought NSU its second and consecutive winning season, going 3–2 overall. The three wins were against the University of the Pacific, Santa Clara College, and the San Jose Normal School; the two losses were versus Berkeley and Stanford (1st teams?).
