The 2018–19 George Washington Colonials men's basketball team represents George Washington University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Colonials are led by third-year head coach Maurice Joseph and play their home games at the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C. as members of the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Previous season

The Colonials finished the 2017–18 season with a record of 15–18, 7–11 in A-10 play to finish in a three-way tie for 10th place. They defeated Fordham in the first round of the A-10 Tournament before losing to Saint Louis in the second round.
