The 2018–19 Big 12 men's basketball season will begin with practices in October 2018, followed by the start of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Regular season conference play will start in December 2018 and will conclude in March 2018. The Big 12 Tournament will be held from March 13 through 16 and will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
