The Manila tornado occurred on 4:30 pm Philippine Time on August 14, 2016. This was only the second time in recorded history that a tornado struck Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The tornado affected in the cities of Manila and Quezon City. The most destructive impact of the tornado was in the southern part of Metro Manila.[1][2][3]
Supply
The water and electricity supply of the barangays in Quezon City, were shut down due to the attack of tornado. More electric lines were damaged during the blast.
Aftermath
More than 200 houses were damaged and two people were injured. The tornado formed at the time of 4:25 pm in Baseco Tondo Compound.
