The 2002 FIA GT Championship was a motor racing series for Grand Touring style cars competing in two classes, GT and N-GT. The championship, which was the 6th FIA GT Championship, commenced on 21 April 2002 and concluded on 20 October 2002 after 10 races.
The GT Drivers Championship was won by Christophe Bouchut driving a Chrysler Viper GTS-R and the N-GT Drivers title was awarded to Stephane Ortelli in a Porsche 911 GT3-RS Type 996.[1] The GT Teams Championship was won by Larbre Competition Chéreau and the N-GT Teams title by Freisinger Motorsport.[1]

GT
The GT Drivers Championship was won by Christophe Bouchut driving a Chrysler Viper GTS-R.[1]
N-GT
The N-GT Drivers title was won by Stephane Ortelli driving a Porsche 911 GT3-RS Type 996.[1]
Teams Championship
Points are awarded to the top 6 finishers in the order of 10–6–4–3–2–1. For the Spa 24 Hours, bonus points were also awarded after six hours and after twelve hours.[2] Both team cars were eligible to score points towards the Teams championship.
