The 1988 West Coast Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament (now known as the West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament) was held March 5–7 at the Leavey Center at the Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California.[1] This was the second edition of the tournament.

Top seed Loyola Marymount defeated tournament host and #3 seed Santa Clara in the championship game, 104–96, to win their first WCAC/WCC tournament championship. The Lions received an automatic bid to the 1988 NCAA Tournament.
