The 1936 Railway Cup Hurling Championship was the tenth series of the Railway Cup, an annual hurling tournament and organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association. The tournament took place between 16 February and 17 March 1936.

Three team teams participated in the inaugural championship. These included the three of the four historic provinces of Ireland, Connacht, Leinster and Munster

The tournament was won by Leinster.
