Şehzade Mahmud (son of Suleiman I)

Şehzade Mahmud (1512 – 1522) was the first son of Suleiman the Magnificent, when Suleiman was a Şehzade (Ottoman prince). Mahmud died of smallpox in 1522 at the age of ten, when his father had already been sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
