This textbook is intended to teach fundamental project management skills for the Project+ certification offered by CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association, a non-profit, vendor-neutral trade association. Project+ shows that one has the knowledge needed to manage projects. It provides validation of fundamental project management skills. The certification covers the life cycle of a project from initiation and planning through execution, acceptance, support and closure.

There are no prerequisites, and candidates are not required to submit an application or complete additional hours of continuing education.
