Letting Domain Be Templateless

A template must be define for each domain to be processed as a target for job search automation. Letting the domain be without a template is a quick way to classify it as useless for your search mission. Here is how it works.

A SERP link is a URL that will bring back a list of Search Result Links and, optionally, a list of more SERP links.

A search result link is a URL that will bring back the body of an article that is an objective for your search mission.

When you ask PlanoTse to search for something, it tells a search engine, e.g. Google, to do just that. The initial web address is called a SERP link because its HTTP response will bring back a list of Search Result Links as well as a list of other SERP links.

When the system receives a webpage as an HTTP response, it scans for all links on the page. If there are no templates already defined for the link's domain, the link is placed in a PlanoTse data item whose name is Templateless Domains and whose type is Webpage. You should not break this convention and do not manually create any other webpage holder with the same name in your current data root directory.

How to locate a data holder by name

Use the Code & Run springboard to run the following block of PlanoTseScript code:

{ edit Templateless Domains; }
