There are three genders in Novoslovnica - masculine, feminine and neutral. Nominal parts of speech can vary by this property. Let's look at different examples.
Noun
Nouns have three main and one additional declensions, so there are some variants in how gender can influence on noun form.
- 1 declension:
- masculine - -A, -Ä
- feminine - -A, -Ä
- 2 declension
- masculine - -0
- neutral - -O, -Ë
- 3 declension
- feminine -J
- add. declension
- neutral -Ę, -Ų
So, we see that nouns in masculine can have -A, -Ä, -0 endings, in feminine - -A, -Ä, -J and in neutral - -O, -Ë, -Ę, -Ų.

We divide adjective into full and short.
