Appendix 4: Fast translation rules

Many English words can easily be "converted" into Norwegian.

Many words in English ending with "tion" (like ration) take the ending "sjon" in Norwegian (like rasjon).
Many words in English ending with "ical" (like practical) take the ending "isk" in Norwegian (like praktisk).
Many words in English ending with "cated" (like provocated) take the ending "sert" in Norwegian (like provosert).

Words with a hard "C" in English are usually spelled and pronounced with "K" in Norwegian and those with soft "C" with "S".
