Asking Forgiveness and Mercy

Our Lord, do not mind us if we forget or make mistakes; our Lord, do not place a burden upon us as You have placed upon those before us; our Lord, do not place upon us what we cannot bare; pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us; You are our patron, grant us victory over the disbelieving people. ( 2: 286)

Our Lord, do not make our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us from You a mercy; You are the Grantor. ( 3: 8)

Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us to the faith, and do not place in our hearts any animosity towards those who believed. Our Lord, You are Compassionate, Merciful. ( 59: 10)

Our Lord, open between us and between our people with truth, you are the best opener. ( 7: 89)

Our Lord! Grant us wives and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us the grace to lead the righteous. (25: 74)

Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the life to come and keep us safe from the torment of the Fire (2:201)

Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance and make our foothold sure and give us help against those who reject faith. (2:250)

Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith. (3:147)

Our Lord! any whom thou dost admit to the fire truly Thou covereth with shame and never will wrong-doers find any helpers! (3:192)

Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (us) to faith `Believe ye in the Lord' and we have believed. Our Lord! forgive us our sins blot out from us our iniquities and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous. (3:193)

Our Lord! And grant us that which you have promised to us by Your messengers and save us from shame on the Day of Judgement. Verily You never fail to fulfill Your promise. (3:194)

Our Lord! We have sinned against ourselves, and unless You grant us forgiveness and bestow Your mercy upon us, we shall most certainly be lost! (7:23)

Our Lord! Place us not among the people who have been guilty of evildoing. (7:47)

Our Lord! Pour out on us patience and constancy, and make us die as those who have surrendered themselves unto You. (7:126)

Our Lord! Make us not a trial for those who practice oppression, and save us by Your mercy from people who reject Thee. (10:85-86)

Our Lord! You truly know all that we may hide [in our hearts] as well as all that we bring into the open, for nothing whatever, be it on earth or in heaven, remains hidden from Allah. (14:38)

Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Your presence and dispose of our affairs for us in the right way. (18:10)

Our Lord! You embrace all things within Your Grace and Knowledge, forgive those who repent and follow Your path, and ward off from them the punishment of hell. (40:7)

Our Lord! Make them enter the Garden of Eden which You have promised to them, and to the righteous from among their fathers, their wives and their offspring, for verily You are alone the Almighty and the truly Wise. (40:8)

Our Lord! Relieve us of the torment, for we do really believe. (44:12)

Our Lord! In You we have placed our trust, and to You do we turn in repentance, for unto You is the end of all journeys. (60:4)

Our Lord! Perfect our light for us and forgive us our sins, for verily You have power over all things. (66:8)

My Lord! Permit me to give thanks for Your blessing which You have bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good which pleases You, and admit me, with Your mercy, among Your righteous Servants. (27:19)

O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events. O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy Will (as a Muslim) and unite me with the righteous. (12:101)

Our Lord! We have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire. (3:16)

Glory to our Lord! Verily we have been doing wrong! (68:29)

Glory be to Thee! To Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe. (7:143)

Asking Protection from Evil

My Lord, I seek refuge with you from the whispers of the devils. And I seek refuge with you O Lord that they should come near. ( 23:97-98)

Glorifying God

O God, Possessor of kingship; you grant kingship to whom You please, and revoke kingship from whom You please, and honour whom You please, and humiliate whom You please; in Your hand is goodness. You are capable of all things. You blend the night into the day, and blend the day into the night; and you bring the living out of the dead, and bring the dead out of the living; and You provide for whom You please with no reckoning. (3:26-27)

Asking Protection in Hereafter

My Lord, admit me an entrance of truth and let me exit an exit of truth, and grant me from Yourself a support of victory. ( 17:80)

Our Lord, avert from us the retribution of Hell. Its retribution is terrible. It is a miserable abode and dwelling. ( 25: 65-66)
