"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us (as Yeshua the Messiah), and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14

He was full of grace and truth, the two pre-dominant qualities of the Father who is love and light. See 1 John 4:16 (Love) & 1 John 1:5 (Light)

God's love is manifested in His undeserved favour and blessing toward us which is made manifest in Yeshua our Messiah enabling us through faith to walk in His truth.

Walking in His truth is living according to His commandments which is called the Law.

Through the impartation of His life, we also are enabled to walk in that same balance of grace and truth, or as it is referred to by the apostles, "faith and works", enjoying His love and favour in keeping His commands.

This requires that we live from the source of His life and not from our own soulishly motivated efforts to obey His commandments. We must live from the Tree of Life and not from the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil.
