Samwise "Sam" Gamgee was Frodo's loyal and devoted gardener, and companion after the breaking of the Fellowship, traveling with him all the way to Mount Doom. Sam was often Frodo's physical and emotional support, and played a vital role in the destruction of the Ring, through the selfless and loving assistance he readily gave to Frodo on the long and hard journey.
