Foreword

This is the community version of Arpad Fekete's public domain book Environmental theory and ideas, which is part of the Free Eco Web Services project. The main goals of the community version is to be more comprehensive by explaining modern environmental protection issues and their solutions as practiced by individuals, businesses, and governments around the world (e.g. solar cooking devices, using recyclable materials, or laws); what you can do to help encourage people, businesses, and governments to adopt environment-friendly practices; and open problems scientists and others have researched or can research in the future for the sake of the environment.
