To perfectly reconstruct the digital signal that was got by sampling an analog signal, the Sampling Theorem must be followed.
Sampling Theorem states that a sampling frequency must be at least twice the highest (maximum) frequency.
- Fs>=2Fm
where
- Fs is the sampling frequency
- Fm is the maximum frequency of the signal to be sampled
