Welcome to the Cambridge Secondary 2 Additional Mathematics study guide. This book comprises of two common syllabuses: Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics (0606) and Cambridge O Level Additional Mathematics (4037). This syllabus covers 15 topics, ranging from sets to calculus. Candidates following this syllabus are recommended to have already studied or are studying either Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580/0581) or Cambridge O Level Mathematics (Syllabus D) (4024) as knowledge from these syllabuses is assumed. This syllabus is assessed by two components: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers consist of 10 to 12 compulsory structured questions of various lengths. Each paper has a total mark of 80, weighed to 50% of the overall syllabus. A silent electronic calculator is required for both papers. This syllabus is available for examination in both the May/June and the October/November examination series.
