Australian Government/History of Government in Australia

The Australian government system originated from The British Westminster system and the United States system. Its Senate is very similar to the U.S. Senate and its High Court is very similar to U.S.A.'s Supreme Court. The legislative system and the Executive council is taken from Great Britain.
